Short answer

How it works
- Tap + at the bottom of Jib, then the microphone.
- Say the job the way you’d tell your partner: “The back garden bed’s full of weeds, and the side gate latch is broken.”
- Stop talking. Jib notices the pause and gets to work.
A second later you’ll see “Added 2 jobs”. Jib wrote a proper title for each, kept any detail you mentioned, and put them in the right space.
What Jib does with what you say
- Writes a proper title. “The back garden’s a mess with weeds” becomes Remove weeds from back garden bed.
- Splits separate jobs. Mention two or three things and you get two or three jobs.
- Files it in the right space. Say “laundry” or “front yard” and it goes there. If you don’t have that space yet, Jib makes it.
- Keeps the detail. Colours, sizes and “before the party on Saturday” end up in the description.
From there it’s a normal job. Open it when you’ve got time and let Jib plan the steps, materials and cost.
Tips
- Say where it is. “The ensuite tap drips” files better than “a tap drips”.
- One breath is plenty. You don’t need to be precise. Jib tidies it up.
- Somewhere noisy? Hold the phone a little closer, or use the camera button instead and snap it.
